Follow You Inner Moonlight

I have a simple look for you today. And I'm very sorry for the lack of posts going up on this blog, but I can't really do an outfit post if I don't go anywhere, now can I? I've been sitting around at home every day and night that I'm not working because really, without school, theres nowhere for me to go everyday. It's gotten me in a slightly depressed funk.
But I did manage to go to the mall for a few minutes to just get out of my house, and to buy some taffy to make me feel better. This is what I threw on.

Sometimes I like to pull weird faces..

OH! I'm bleaching my hair again, since it didn't turn out exactly right the first time around.

Simplicity

Yesturday was the first day in a while that I got to visit with my friend Brittany, and we had such a great time together walking through the mall and talking. With both of our work and her school schedule, it  can be a challenge to find time to hang out with each other.
But, anyway, this is what I wore! Simple...

Today I have to go to work, but later in the evening I'm going to Wolfville to visit a friend that is going to university there. It will be my first time driving on the highway by myself, so wish me luck!

I hope you all have a spectacular weekend!

One Must Maintain A Little Bit Of Summer

This is how I looked on Wednesday, which was a very funny day. I love hot weather, which means I dread  the fall and winter seasons. I don't even like spring much, but it leads to summer so I don't mind it quite as much. But the weather here is noticably getting cooler, which has gotten me in a funk. Until Wednesday! It was exactly like a hot summer day, so I was feeling wonderful and giddy. I dressed up in summery clothes for the last time, and put some fushia lipstick on my lips! Then I snapped these photos, and walked down to the library. A perfect last summery day.

If It Requires A Uniform...

This blouse is probably my new favourite shirt. I bought it last week at a second hand store for about 3 dollars, and I am in love! The graphic black and cream pattern is amazing, and it's made of silk so it feels like a dream. I can't wait for all of the forthcoming opportunities to style it!

Face Reality As It Is

On Thursday I went to do some second hand shopping with Lehla at Frenchy's. I only bought one blouse with an amazing graphic pattern, that I'm sure you will see some time later this week!
But yeah, this is what I wore..
Oh! And these are the high waist jeans that I bought in Halifax. I love them so much, and will be wearing them very often this fall/winter season.

I straightened my hair! It's such a nice change to have it straight and sleek; I've always loved and wanted straight hair. But wearing it wavy is a lot less work. And by the way, how you see my hair in my photos in not natural. If you're interested, I can tell you how I get my hair wavy in a  future post! It is extremely easy..

The Trouble With Trouble

Up until now, I have been very excited for the new fall season, and all of the different fashion opportunities. But now that it's almost here, I am no longer looking forward to it. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons, and I find it so much easier to dress for warm weather. I never know what to wear when it's cold, except for as many layers as possible to stay warm. But we still have a few more weeks of summery weather here, so I don't have to worry about it just yet.

This is what I wore on Sunday to watch The Five Year Engagement with a friend at her house.
I wanted to be comfortable, and I also wanted to wear one of the new pairs of jeans that I have bought recently, so I couldn't resist wearing these new floral jeans that I bought from Dynamite!

The Best Thing About The Future

This is how I looked last week when I went to Halifax to do some shopping. I went with my friend Brittany, and I think she is a shopping lucky charm. Typically I find pants extremely hard to shop for, so I don't have very many. But when I went with her, I managed to pick up three pairs! Including a high waist pair of jeans from H&M, which I am so excited about! I've been looking for a pair for so long, and have never come across a pair that I could afford.

I love this high-low skirt from Romwe so much! It's so versitile, I think it's definitely become a staple in my wardrobe. I've ordered another, in black, and I can't wait for it to arrive!

If You Don't Know Where You Are Going

Today is going to be one of those days that is lazy, and a waste. But that seems much better than working. I'll probably spend the afternoon reading, or watching a few movies.
Speaking of movies, I just finished watching Never Let Me Go, with Carey Mullingan, Andrew Garfield, and Keira Knightly. Seriously, watch this movie.  It is about clones who are raised to be organ donors, to save people and prolong their lives. But the clones die at a young age, between their 20's and 30's. A love triangle forms between the three main characters, and it's sad, romantic, and heartbreaking. Altogether an amazing film.

I wore this to my best friend's going away party. I thought it would be cute to wear one of the shirts that we tie dyed together, and she ended up waering one too! And no, we didn't plan it :)
